My Sister Was Here!!!

There is nothing that makes my heart happier than when my sister is here. Her visit was the perfect beginning to summer and fun filled days.  My cutie-pie of a niece, Olive Grace came along as well. She is quite the toddler and Craig and I love hearing her talk around the house, but our favorite thing is when she call our names, "Auntie Kids, Bubba." Awe, you forget how much you love the toddler stage until you don't have one around.

Here is our week in pictures.

(isn't our Mom the cutest. she loves the green army men.)

( Trish, the magical twin magnet. aka the lifesaver of the day.)

Allie-Cat, Although we live far apart, you are never far from my heart!

Thanks for the super fun week. xoxo

Hooray for Dads!

So, I am bit late in this blog post but, we have been a tad busy around here. Here is a recap of our family filled Father's Day. XO

Getting the table ready for Daddy (aka Craigers) the night before.

I LOVE all the J's handmade gifts and the ANGELS tickets we bought him for a future night of family fun. Gma even joined in on our theme and gave Craigers a new Angels T-Shirt.

Our morning started with big smiles and huge hugs for our favorite Daddy (which I have no pictures of).

Then we headed to Papa and Nana's for breakfast and cousin mayhem.

Allison LOVES Sunny. He is the sweetest dog ever.

Then we said good bye to Nana and Papa and headed back to the Carlson Headquarters. Where we were greeted by these two ladies.

I barbequed for the gang while everyone played in the backyard and hung out. Just the way I like it.

And for my most favorite part of the day... Root Beer Floats. (i can not take credit for this super cute idea. i borrowed it from this crafty gal i know, kristin).

This will become a tradition for sure.

Happy Father's Day, Babe! We love you for just being you. For never missing a good night kiss, for reading Junie B. Jones with gusto every night and laughing out loud along with the twins,  for finding fun multplication games for Jillian to use on the ipad and never growing tired of helping her with math, and for just loving me in this crazy whirlwind life that we lead. It is NOT perfect but, it's OURS and I love you for that.

xoxo

To My Own Cute Dad, What would I do without you. You have taught me the value of hard work, always doing your best and putting forth the extra effort, loving your family above all else, and that you can survive in this world even if you "stink" at Algebra. I LOVE you, Daddy!

5 ladies. 3 awards. 1 very large card.

I LOVED that all my J's received scholastic awards on the very same day ( not because I ran out of sick days months ago ha. ha.) and that all these lovely ladies joined me in cheering them on. I am one proud mama.

Also loving that Jorgia (my little artist) spent an entire week making this card for her principal who is retiring this year! Can you see it?

Good Bye Kindergarten and Third Grade. Hello Summer. We are LOVING you already!

putt.putt.

A Carlson Family First. Miniature Golf. In my mind, I was picturing an easy breezy afternoon. Where everyone would just get along and we would leisurely cruise through the 18 hole course. I was wrong...

There was frustration.

There were smiles.

There was hope.

There was the professional, who brought along his own putter.

There were 10 over pars on par 3 holes.

There was "Do it your own way."

There was "Let's do this again, Daddy."

Craigers: "Alright guys we'll go again sometime soon."  Me: "Jeez Oh Peet."

Love those J's of ours.
