Yesterday, Jacksi and Jo along with all the other first graders brought their Leprechaun traps to school in hopes to catch him over the weekend.

I had a little birthday a few weeks ago, not a milestone birthday but a birthday that is definitely closer to 40 rather than 30.  So, in true Carlson fashion Craigers threw me a birthday party. Not just any party but, a 70's/80's costume party and EVERY single one of our friends came in costume.  I was so delighted and touched.

We represented ourselves well. You think?

I have so many more picture from that night, but 90% of us are teachers so let's keep it clean people. xo

Ariel. This mug has seen it all. For the past 20 years, my Mom has drank her morning coffee from this mug.  It has survived 3 teenagers, late nights, early mornings, soccer games, grandchildren, and holds countless memories for her and us.  We gave it to her right after the Little Mermaid came out in theaters and we had visited Walt Disney World with our Dad. It was the longest we had ever been away from her.   I remember when we came home from that vacation, she opened the mug and it fit perfectly in her hand.

After 20 years the inevitable happened... it fell off the bathroom sink. 

Good thing we are going back to Disney World this summer. Hopefully, we will find another one.

Happy Birthday to our darling and funny niece OG! February is full of birthdays in our family (including mine but, that is for a later post) and we do our best to celebrate with everyone. So, when this cutie wanted a party with her cousins, we couldn't resist. G-ma, the J's, and I traveled up north to celebrate and visit the cutest 3 year old EVER!

BTW... OG is kind of obsessed with Tangled and seems to end a lot of her sentences these days with "EVER." Hence, the best birthday EVER!
