Springtastic!

We started off Spring Break with a Birthday Breakfast Bonanza to celebrate
April Birthday's with our HUGE Family.

Monday Morning:
Surprise! Breakfast Bagels for Craigers. Happy 41st Birthday Babe!

Monday Afternoon:
Natural History Museum with Auntie Joanie.

Monday Night:
Bari Bari, to Celebrate Craig's Birthday. Complete with a little "Wall of Fame" artwork.

Tuesday:
6 kids and 2 moms walked the LA Zoo for 5 hours.
They were all troopers and we only had one "dynamic duo" meltdown. Success.

Wednesday:
The twins turned 6! We had our first "school friends"  party at Scooter's Jungle. So STINKIN' fun.
By the way, the duo planned their outfits for that day. Just awesome.

Friday:
Jess and I threw our boys (Craig and Chris) a grown up birthday party.
A night complete with Cocktails, Fun Friends, and Dancing. Lots of Dancing.

Saturday: Getting ready for E.B.

Sunday: Happy Easter!

"What do you mean? Why is there not a prize for collecting the most eggs?"
said our most competitive child.

Confetti Eggs, my new favorite.

Our very own E.B.

A fun filled week with family and friends. Summer is just around the corner, I can taste it.
Can you?  xoxo A

Slipping through my fingers...

Moments like these are just slipping through my fingers. Reading with my girls and Vegas just before bedtime and me looking ready for bed myself. When Craigers snapped these pictures, my first thought was "delete" but, then I just couldn't. This is the real "us" every night at 8:45pm; glamorous or not, here we are.

Jillian's beloved Cow Carlson. Part of the family since Summer of 2005.

Celebrating Sisters!

Look who's ecstatic...

My Scientific Smartie.

A CELEBRATION dance was in order

and look who joined in on the fun.

A proud little sister!

Awe, sisters. I'd be lost without mine.

The way we roll...

C: "Babe, where are my rollerblades?"
Me: "In the rafters."
C: "Where in the rafters?"
Me: "Somewhere in the middle."
C: "Where are yours?"
Me: "Goodwill."
C: "That's right your feet grew after the twins."
Me: "Babe, let's go. Just rent some skates."
C: "Alright, but I won't be able to go as fast."
Me: "Let's roll!"

Needless to say...We had a BLAST!

Tell me a story...

I feel as if my life is captured in snapshots. Memories that I visit over and over again in my dreams. Music completes these memories for me. Tonight, I rearranged my playlist and traveled back in time to find a few of my favorites. If you know me at all then I bet you can figure them out. xoxo A

Together We Can Recycle.

Jillian is a good mix of Craig and I. She is super "techy" like Craig and she is a "bookworm" like me.  In  recent years she has become a good  little photographer as well.  For the past three years, she has participated in the Reflections Program (a celebration of the arts) at her school. This years theme was Together We Can... Jillian's idea, recycle.  She took a picture of our green and blue trash cans and she won 2nd Place for our PTA district. Jillian, we are so proud of you!

P.S. Maybe one day you will become a shutterbug like me. Love, Mommy

Sleepover Hangover.

Last weekend, the girls and I headed to the desert to celebrate Rilee's 7th Birthday.

It was a Star Studded, Rock Star Event.  Complete with a walk down the red carpet, karaoke, dance contest, fashion show, photo booth, and a at-home movie theater.

The night was perfect minus the lack of sleep. I think the girls finally went to sleep at 12:30a.m. and woke up at  6:45a.m. Needless to say, the ride home was long and the girls were tired but they had so much fun and so did I.

Making Time.

After I went running the other night, I just wanted to take a shower but a "little peach" had other plans for me.

Craft Time = Sock Puppets.

So, we cut and glued and ended up with this little creation in about 10 minutes.

She ended up with this....

and I with this.
